Chris Gregory
Chris Gregory
Chris comes from a small business family. His parents were small business owners, as are many of his relatives - and so is he.
He trained as a chartered accountant and spent many years in accounting, audit and business advisory roles in New Zealand and the UK. As a partner in the international accounting firm Grant Thornton he was involved in accounting and audit technical committees in the Asia-Pacific region and in training audit and accounting staff in New Zealand.
However, his real interest is in business development and in 1999 was trained as an E-Myth Consultant, becoming a Senor Consultant in 2002. In 2006 he became a Senior Consultant with The Alliance for Enterprise Leadership Inc.
This allowed him to work more closely with small business owners to bring vision, structure and process into their businesses. They were then able to get more freedom to manage a business that works, and to spend time with their families and time to pursue other interests. When he sees that happen, it brings a great sense of satisfaction.
In 2006 Chris was a judge in the Westpac Enterprise North Shore Business Excellence Awards.
Chris is an owner and director of Enterprise Leadership New Zealand Limited, a business coaching company dedicated to the release of owners from the tyrany of small business.
Outside of work Chris loves skiing, fishing, travel, community service through Rotary mentoring through Business Mentors New Zealand, and spending time with his grown-up children and grandchildren.
